Naughty or nice... I got an award woot!!!!

My BFF, Angel, gave me an award. I don't know if she is saying that I am naughty or nice. I think I am a little both sometimes.Angel got it from her friend ,Dionne, and then Angel gave it to me - and a few other nice/naughty folk. But this is my blog And... I wanna talk about me , I wanna talk about I, wanna talk about number one - O me O my, What I think, what I want , what I like , what I don't , what I see... Umm , sorry I broke out into song there- happens quite often.

There it is It is mine now. Bwhhahahahahaha. The rules are simple. Answer some questions, give the button to 5 (if I'm nice) and 10 (IF I'm naughty). So let's get this party started.

What is the silliest prank you ever played on someone?O wow I am not  much of a prankster. One April Fool's I told my sister I was pregnant again. She almost had another brain aneurysm - I think.

2. If you could take a trip anywhere out of the country where would you go? Why? Australia I want to see the Opera house on the bay and hear a prima dona  sing there

3. Who plays the most influential role in your life? God,of course

4. Are you ok with your significant other being friends with an ex? Yes I know I can trust my hubby.

5. Favorite candle scent? Apple pie, blackberry cobbler,

6. Next movie you're excited about seeing? Salt.  it sounds very interesting

7. You must ban one word from the dictionary and all usage, to be no longer uttered or written. What word do you ban? Hate, without hate we wouldn't have these people who are racist or murders or wife/child beaters

8. Do you have any relatives in jail? Not recently that I know of

9. What crazy fads were popular when you were a teenager. It was the 80's.

10. Have you ever been mentioned in a newspaper or on TV? I was in the newspaper alot when I was in High school for one award or the other with chorus and art.

Ok there's the questions and the answers ... Now to give these puppies away:

I love summer.

I love watching my girls play and laugh. The neighbors all tell me that they enjoy hearing the sounds of my girls playing , they are the only ones who actually play outside in my neighborhood.
WIMTS

Well it is time for WIMTS wiuth Angel and Brittany.

When Danny asked me why I was awake at 3 in the morning, I said "couldn't sleep".
What I meant to say was...
I wouldn't be up at this horrific hour if you would stay on your side of the bed with the big' ole long legs of yours. That's right grasshoppa you ran me out of the bed again.

When Danny asked me how I was feeling this evening, I said fine.
What I meant to say was...
I hurt. I always hurt but that's nothing new. With Fybromyalgia, everything just hurts - but I am fine. I don't hurt like i used to thanks to God and the medication he lead my doctor to give me.

When Katie asked me for the 50th time "what's wrong mommy, what's wrong??" I said for the 50th time "nothing baby"
What I meant to say was that is absolutely nothing that i will share with my autistic child. She may see the pain flash across my face but I will never explain to such a naive child about my flashbacks... There are just some things better left unsaid. What I meant to say to her was Thank you for bringing me back to reality where I belong with my children and my happy home.

Well that's enough sharing for me...
What I mean to say is
I'm sorry for unloading on you. It has been a rough day. Thanks for listening.

We have less than a month til the first day of school :(

We have had so much fun this summer. The time has flown by and too soon Ashley and Autumn will be back in school. I love having Ashley wake me up in the mornings instead of the alarm clock. With either swimming or just hanging around the house doing chores, we all love spending time together. Ashley is 9 now but sometimes (much more rare now that she is a "big girl") she still wants to snuggle and take a little nap with me. We enjoy walking to to store a block away to get a pack of gum. I am really going to miss spending all day with my girls. Katie will be home with me, so I won't have an empty nest. But I don't want summer to be over so soon.  There is only about 3 weeks left for us to swim, jump on the trampoline and play all day. We have to hurry and have loads more fun before school starts! Here a some pics for you to enjoy until I get back...

Autumn and Ashley jumping

Katie and her friend swinging at the park.

OKay as I said I gotta go. We have to have more fun! HEY YOU! Stop reading and go have fun!

Blog Bash

Brittany wants to know what we got from our mommas...

I got my deep desire to be the best Mom that I could ever be. Mom instilled in all 7 of us a deep respect for each other, ourselves and our children. She taught me about a mother's love and the love God has for us. She had the patience of Job while raising me. I love her deeply (even when she meddles LOL) She also gave me  a fine sense of style ... Ain't that hair gorgeous??? A glorious bouffant. She would wear me out with a broom if she knew I was picking on her lmbo.

My lovely momma turned 75 this year and she has devoted 58 of those years to her children. God has blessed us indeed .

Okay time to link up with the blog bash and show us your Mommas or at least what your momma gave ya.

We've been adopted.

This is the little girl chihuahua that adopted us day before yesterday. Danny calls her Squishy (watch Finding Nemo and you'll understand); I call her "Here doggy"... original right? She isn't allowed in the house but I feed and water her every morning.

This is Hunny. She is my brain-damaged Shih Tzu. She was born with a mental and physical disability. And she is the reason I cannot have "here Doggy" in the house. She gets very upset when other animals are in her space. Except for Darby...

Darby is my 15 year-old West Highland Terrier. Yeah she is a proud member of the Old Ladies Club. So am I. We have weekly meetings in the bedroom to count Z's. Darby usually counts more than me. Hunny is a honorary member even though she is just 4 years-old. She could enter the Sleep Master Olympics. So could my cat, Willow.

She is the serious one of the bunch. Unless she is picking on Darby, she is asleep. She sits in the kitchen and meows until Darby comes to find her. Then she grabs Darby's undercoat so Darby will drag her across the linoleum. If I ever get a pic of that ,I will have to show you. But I have other funny pics to show you. Like this:

Ain't her hair to die for! oooo  I have more...

BTW, she is looking at me like I've lost my mind b/c I am laughing my tail off at her hair. She found none of that nearly as funny as I did. But those are my furbabies and my special guest.
Wait there's more...

Okay now I'm done. See aren't pets fun!

My Life Song

Blog Bash

Rascal Flatts' Everyday is my Life Song. Danny and I have been through so much together and Everyday I thank God for him. And he is sweet enough to say that he is the blessed one. I don't know where I would be now or what condition I would be in ,for that matter, if God hadn't sent me Danny. He's my beloved boomerang , I tried 3 times to throw him away and he kept coming back. That makes me the blessed one because when I finally figured out that my life was supposed to be one with his... Danny was there waiting for me. I guess I should have said originally that we put each other through a lot of needless pain. But now by the grace of God , we have learned how to be there for each other ... Everyday.

Okay now it is your turn . Click on the link and tell us all about your Life song. Come on... it's painless, I promise!

Blog Bash

Ok, Britteny asked us to rekindle our high school years.

I don't have any experiences that really stand out for me, not one particular day.
But I can tell yall about one of my favorite memories.

I got pregnant when I was a junior in high school. I had to grow up pretty fast becoming a mommy and all. My favorite memories are during those times I spent in the nursery with my daughter. I spent all my free time during my senior year in the nursery. I remember Katie cuddling on my shoulder and not wanting that hour to end. Then there were the days when all the babies were awake and running/crawling all over everything. If one baby sat in someones lap, we had 5 more trying to get into that same lap. It was one of the sweetest moments and a big learning experience. Having another student get me out of class because katie wouldn't stop crying. She woke the rest of the babies and refused to be quiet until she saw me. Those are my best high school experiences... seeing my baby's face light up every time I walked into the nursery. And learning so much about being a mommy.

Okay that's mine. Now click on the linky thingy and join in the fun.

Blog Bash

1.) Why do you blog?
I never considered blogging until Angel told me I should blog.... I guess that is because I run my mouth so much.If you get us (Angel and I ) together talking to one another it sounds like a gaggle of wild geese in a flogging fit.
2.) What do you blog about?
Everything and a whole lot of nothing. My girls have become excellent blog fodder .... Katie is Autistic with bi-polar disorder and that puts a tailspin on life occasionally. Then there are the tweens Autumn (12) and Ashley (9).... OH! The Drama of it all.
3.) What do you find to be the biggest reward you get from blogging?
Thinking that maybe there is someone out there that hears me... Not through the filter of Mom or wife, just me. Plus I have always enjoyed reading the other blogs and there are some great people in blogville.
4.) How long have you been blogging?
One week ago on July the 5th was my first blog... I'm a newbie.
5.) Let's hear the story behind your blog title! :)
My hubby calls me Shug , Dot is my nickname (family and such) , and sugadot has been my username for about 5 years... everything is a little sweeter with some Suga LOL ...

Okay I guess that is it for now. Join the fun! Go and click the linky ... You know you want to.

Good morning

I've not blogged all weekend;mainly, because I have nothing to blog about. I lead a very uneventful life and like it that way. I could blog about going to church. But I run Media Shout every service and that is rather uneventful also. Well except when noone follows the service flow and I have to keep up with them.My kids keep me hopping . But alot of that is personal excitement, nothing to blog about. I get up in the morning, drink my coffee, do what little housework I feel like doing . And I stay still if I am hurting a lot. But I recently got a mani and a pedi. The girl painted fireworks and USA on the big toe...very cool... here take a looky.Photobucket

My Girls

Have you ever looked over at your children and thought " Wow! How did that happen? " I had one of those moments last night. I came in from the kitchen and I had 3 little women sitting on my couch. And they are gorgeous ( Danny get the shotgun! ) ,intelligent (well, that will weed out some of the shotgun fodder) and loving. All 3 are very mature for their ages. That could prove to be  problem with Aut, she's twelve and built like a brick outhouse. She is 12 going on 20. How did this happen ??? Is her mother giving her miracle  grow in the Capn' Crunch?? I swear her ta-tas were not like That the last time she stayed the week with us. Starting to look like a tween Dolly Parton . Then there is Katie ,well, she got her momma's bosoms and backside. I don't know if that is a blessing or a curse ,but I know she blushes every time some little dude tries to talk to her. Then she runs back to me (she just saved your life boy!) Katie is 18 years old and by all rights able to make her own mistakes But she has asperberger's and bi-polar disorder ,and she is thereby covered within my protection forever! She tells me some boy is bothering her and I automatically puff up. Ya'll know how a grizzly will stiffen and expand to show an intruder her displeasure - puff up. Of course that just leaves Ashley to consider. She has been too big for her little breaches since birth. I like to blame this on her father because I was neeeeeeever a trouble magnet like her. I had to run a little romeo off the other day. Ashley was jumping on the trampoline and he had stars in his eyes. And believe me , it isn't like these girls are innocent little lambs being stalked by  big bad wolves. I know they encourage the attention. It is my job to keep these boys alive (because Danny will kill somebody over his girls LOL) and to keep my girls out of trouble as much as possible. From the looks of things my job is getting harder by the day.
OKay I'm off to K-mart to buy long skirts, bulky sweaters, duct tape (for Ashley's mouth) and shotgun shells.

What I meant to say Wednesday with Angel

WIMTS

Okay once again my BFF has gotten me into something I don't know how to do But as always she has offered to help me through it Angel invited me to do this blog and she talked me into doing the carnival.Ya'll link up and join the fun.

The other day my hubby asked "why is the trash overflowing?" I said "i don't know" Then he said "well ,that's not a very good answer is it?" Hmmmmm Well what I meant to say was .... The freaking trash is overflowing because you, my dear hubby, haven't taken out it to the herbie curbie. I can't do it because the bags are too big and the steps are too steep. I can't do it because you,my dear hubby, will yell at me if I get half way out the door with it somehow without falling down.  The trash is overflowing because I am the only one doing  the housework and I have been told not to do that part.
When Katie yells that she can't go take her shower because all of her clothes are dirty (and obviously thus she must remain dirty... ) I tell her that it will be okay; I will take care of her clothing problem. What I meant to say is... Your clothes wouldn't be dirty if you took them to the laundry room. Instead you have them spread across the room like they are protecting the carpet... from what your stinky feet. You are 18 and you ain't broke. Pick up your clothes and take them to the laundry room. Get in the shower  or I'm gonna chase you around with a water hose.

Last week, my sister said," Dorothy,I am giving 'the eyes' for a reason" I said "So..." What I meant to say...Like I care if you give me that look. Here I got one too and it is almost identical to yours but I used My Eyes. Thanks but I already have a  pair that can do the same thing. I don't care why you think you need to give me "your eyes" ,I am going to keep believing what I believe and doing what I believe should be done. You are not my mother , stay out of this.

When Angel said "and you get to do What I meant to say Wednesday as your very first carnival... " I said ,"Uh OK" What I meant to say was... WHAT  have you lost your mind. I don't know how to do that! I barely know how to write a blog.

And there you have it . The rest is "a favorable decision"  to live and let live.

Katie did it ! See my button? Thank You ,Katie!

Katie , my 18-year -old , fixed my tag for me. I think it is awesome and we are doing the super happy dance. Katie may be autistic BUT she is super intelligent. She can make a computer sing, dance, roll-over and fetch. Now if she could figure out how to make my computer do the laundry and take out the trash ... I would be ecstatic. I am so proud of her. So go ahead and take my button. And please remember that Autistic kids aren't dis-abled, they are differently-abled. You just gotta find their gift.

My 1st blog... pop me easy folks I don't want this to hurt !

Angel , my BFF 4-ever, talked me into blogging. You will come to realize that Angel has talked me into many, many things. Some of them that got me into ... ummm, interesting situations; and some that got us both in hot water. But what are true friends for, right? If ya don't know her, please head on over to her blog. She is a total hoot. Ok a little about me. I am severely dyslexic so if something looks a little hinky - blame it on Angel, it's angelspeak and has nothing to do with my dyslexia...

I have 3 beautiful daughters. They are 18,12 and 9. I know that is odd names for children, but it is fun this way. They change every year. My twelve-year-old  is my yougun from another mother. She is my little woman... twelve going on thirty-two. She is so in love with Edward Cullen. She whimpers every time she sees a pic of Robert Patterson ... what does that say about me that I know the guys real name....hmmmmm. My 18-year-old has Aspberger's and bi-polar disorder. She writes computer programs like I write my name.It is just that easy for her;she amazes me. And then there is the 9-year-old. She is a total Diva. We are talking Lights,Camera,DRAMA! There are days when all 3 of them get going on the hormonal roller coaster and I feel like Alice at the Mad Hatter's tea party .We are positively mad... but all the best people are.

Then there is my hubby- my magic clown. Sometimes he is so surrounded by females - even the dogs and cat are femmes - that he starts to drown in estrogen. I figure a good  dowsing ,every once in awhile, is healthy for his perspective on life. But he takes all in stride. He is an electrician after all... He can make anything out of nothing and nothing out of anything. He is a mighty man of God and the love of my life - second only to God. And I praise God everyday for my boomerang - love. That needs explaining I suppose. I tried 3 times to throw My hubby away. I made him leave. I  was horrible to him. I even divorced him in his darkest hour. And he came back, 3 times; despite seeing me at my ugliest, he still loved me. I took the hint from God that He had brought us together and no man ,Or crazed woman , shall tear us apart.

I let go and let God and the path of my life became so much clearer.

But hey that is enough back ground stuff... unless you want to ask me a question. Go ahead and ask, I don't bite... too hard.

     Me surrounded by my girls
